And a good time was had by all . . .

The man celebrated all day . . .

food and this cake at work

then to the Fenton Bar & Grill for another party

where the food and beer never stopped.

Sign

Bill & Mark (a buddy of Bill's from AB) retired on the same day.

Gray Eagle made this sign for them and hung it outside the

Fenton Bar & Grill.

Wasn't that cool?

I think this party took over the entire bar and party room. What a great bar and grill!  The chef kept the hors d'oeuvres coming out all night.  Those chicken wings were delicious and just the way I like 'em - crispy and never soggy with a tiny bit of a kick to them.

Tonight, another "outting" with friends.  I think this is a weekend long retirement event.

Here's some party-goers:

Today's the day . . .

Can't believe it's finally here.  Retirement day.  Bill's last day at work.  After 30+ years at Anheuser-Busch, he's "outta there".  You may have heard me say this before, but he has worked 7 days a week year round for 30 years.  Holidays and all.  This man deserves a break and I'm thrilled he's going to retire a little early.

Happy fishing Bill.

All dressed up and ready to party!

Oh to be a better photographer . . .

but alas I'm not.

Here's the tag we'll be making for my make-and-take @ For Keeps Sake on Saturday.  You can't tell here (see what I mean about that photography thing), but this tag is covered in gorgeous Perfect Pearls.  Then we'll stamp with one of Wendy Vecchi's flower stamps from Stampers' Anonymous - on grungeboard.  Ink it up.  Cut it out and voila ~  a sparkly tag.

During the February class, you will be given a list of supplies being used in the March class and can list those supplies you wish to order for the March class.  At each subsequent class, you will be given a "wish list" for the following month's class.

And just in case you're wondering, yes, Tim did give me permission to teach these tags!  Thanks Tim.  You're the ultimate!

Today's CHA pick . . .

7 Gypsies.  I love everything about 7 Gypsies.  Their booth at CHA is usually one of the most interesting to peruse (not there this year - just remembering past CHA's).  Their samples are amazing, particularly if you like vintage and collage.

This year's products are looking equally as wonderful as any other year:

Another CHA fave

I really like Hero Arts stamps (among others, of course!  One can never have too many stamps.)

Here's one of their newest from the Hero Arts Winter 2009 catalogue:

Hero arts

I think my favorite Hero Arts designer,

Shari Carroll (Hi Shari) designed this one.

And here's a card she designed using the above stamp set:

Shari's card

Gotta have this set.

Shari's work is FABulous and INSPIRE-ing
