Been busy today . . . playin' with stuff.
Getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not that I want to rush the season, but . . .
I love, love, love Halloween
and
didn't get one thing out.
Not one decoration.
Seriously.
The tubs of decorations from the infamous basement closet made it up to the foyer and stopped.
Nothing got unpacked.
I was truly ashamed of myself. Bah. Humbug.
Since we have the entire family over for Thanksgiving, I decided to get an early start. Put the Halloween tubs downstairs (again) and dug out the Thanksgiving tubs to see what I had, what needed to be redone and what needs to make it to the GoodWill Store.
It's going to be a rather tough holiday season and the more I can perk things up the better.
Thus, my re-dos and early starts with decorations.
Re-designed the two topiaries sitting on the porch. Really easy - and everything on sale. Love that!
Got all the frosted pumpkins out for the dining room table. May have to sugar those up some more.
Then decided to make a hanging thingy (tech term here) for the cabinet door. Started playing with this POST stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms.
Added Distress Inks, Copics, some sugar (not real sugar!)
and ended with this:
I'll punch holes, add a wire hanger and hang on the bookshelf doors.
Simply easy!
