Admit One . . .

Sunday, February 24: 12:30 pm: Admit One Mini Book

The base is a Farmhouse mini loaded with adorably printed Bazzill papers, 7 Gypsies ephemera and ribbons. Throw in a few vintage pieces and you've created *Admit One*, a mini that could be used to remember a party, dinner with friends or a family get together.

Basic supplies is all that's needed to complete this mini.  Everything else will be provided for you in this workshop.

PS: There is one page where you may need a score board (the mini size will do), but not necessary if you don't have one.

February 2013 Book Workshop

Kits are being put together today as I'm getting ready for some fun tomorrow!

This workshop is sold out.

Thank you.

I owe you . . .

a list of supplies for Sunday's *Admit One* workshop. As soon as I can get to For Keeps Sake (hopefully today) and go through the sample book, I'll be posting a list of supplies. Perhaps later today!

In the meantime, being snowed in yesterday was a good thing. Here's a couple of samples for upcoming workshops:

Savvy Stampers Cards

Have you heard about

For Keeps Sake's new Savvy Stampers Club?

Join for a minimum fee each year

and receive

10% off every stamp you buy any day of the week.

In addition, you have an opportunity to join a

FREE

card class each month.

The photo above shows the cards we'll be making for the March workshop date:

Tuesday, March 19

6 pm

Not a member?

There's plenty of time to join the Club

or

join the class for just $15.

This next photo is a tease as I still need to find a date for this workshop.

Having completed a similar design for

Graphic 45's CHA booth this past January,

I decided to change it up just a tad

combining the beautiful

French Country and their 12x12 matchbook box.

Coming soon to For Keeps Sake:

G45 French Country

This project includes 2 mini-booklets

ready for photos or family recipes

(or both!).

Stay tuned for details.

Playing with Stencil Girl stencils & Wood Icing . . .

last night at CYI. It was fun to experiment with Wood Icing, checking out the difference between Gesso and Wood Icing and seeing how you can build up images with Wood Icing.

We colored, stenciled and generally played . . .

and planned for next month's CYI.

Wood Icing

For those of you who asked last night, we did receive one shipment (our original order) from Creative Imaginations which included a few of the products Cheryl Mezzetti will be using in her classes on March 6 & 7.

We are expecting a HUGE second order before Cheryl's class. These workshops are going to be amazing!

Onto more news about next month's CYI: We'll be working with twinchies and creating something wonderful! Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, think about what color scheme you'd like to work with and start collecting papers, stamps, inks etc in your chosen color group.

What are twinchies? A tiny square that's 1.5" x 1.5". And we'll be creating lots of them to incorporate onto a canvas (or whatever you choose to showcase yours). Maybe a book cover instead of a canvas?

Here's a sample created by Dena Redfern:
