Graphic 45 Nature's Sketchbook

with a

Maya Road chipboard book and Prima Marketing flowers.

Please bring to class:

  • Craft mat
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Scissors for fussy cutting and regular scissors
  • Ink to match project: black or dark brown will do. Just enough to cover the white core edges
  • Adhesive: Strong wet glue such as Beacon 3-in-1 or Beacon Fabri-Tac + tape runners (you'll need a lot of tape).
  • Corner rounder
  • Paper Piercer
  • Crafty Foam Tape (preferably black)
  • Scor-Board (a small one will do if you have one)
  • Pre-painted Maya Road books

This month be inspired by beautiful Kaisercraft papers and Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts designs. We'll be working on a two page heritage inspired Christmas layout.

Friday, November 18 @ 10:30 am: Graphic 45 December tags

G45 Tags

WOW! Can't believe this is our last Graphic 45 tag class of the year. It flew by! This month's tags include an ornament, a card and a place holder for a gift certificate. BYO Basic supplies plus a large balled stylus and mat for shaping flowers. And if you're worried about your manicure, a pair of plastic gloves. (We'll be using a sponge and gesso on the flowers.)

Saturday, March 19: 10:30 to 4:30: Prima Educator Days @ Checkered Cottage, Kirkwood MO

As a Prima Marketing Educator, I will be periodically adding workshops at Checkered Cottage featuring Prima Marketing products. This month's project is a mini-book using Frank Garcia's Memory Hardware 6x6 mini-book and combining it with Nature Garden papers, flowers and embellishments. You'll be choosing some of your cover embellishments so no two books will be exactly alike. 

Supplies Needed: Basics (see top of the blog) plus small paintbrushes to color images on the front cover. I used rounds #4 and #6.  Distress Ink pads: Antique Linen. Gold leaf pen. (palette knife not needed. I'm losing my mind.)

7 Gypsies Farmhouse Christmas

houses in a box.

Cut for me by Gina's Designs Laser Cuts

we'll hinge the houses together, decorate them

and place them carefully in the house box.

Please bring to class:

  • Paper Trimmer (12" recommended)
  • Scissors: precision tips for fussy cutting and stamp edge scissors
  • Adhesive: both wet & dry and please bring a wet glue that is heavy duty (similar to Beacon 3-in-1)
  • Craft Mat
  • Crafty Foam Tape (dimensional pop-ups)
  • Crop-a-Dile
  • Paper Piercer
  • Pencil & Ruler (recommend Tim Holtz ruler)
  • Edge Distresser
  • Ink and applicators to match project papers (I used Vintage Photo)
  • Marvy Uchida Snow Pen (or similar)
  • Red & Green (XMAS colors) colored pencils or markers or Copics
  • 2" circle punch (if you have one)
  • Edge punch (your favorite decorative edge punch)
  • Score Board
  • Gold leaf pen
  • Black acrylic paint, sponge brush and paper plate to hold paint
  • Baby wipes (it will be somewhat of a messy morning)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Because I will be out of town 2 weekends in January, I need to change the dates of some of my workshops as follows:

Heritage Layouts will remain on Wednesday, January 13.

Graphic 45 Tags with Cards will now be on Friday, January 22.

Botanicabella book, part 4 will now be on Saturday, January 30.

We will go back to our regular schedule in February.
