Laughing at Lisa Pace's post.

Hopped on over to Lisa Pace's blog today.  She has some really cute Easter projects posted.  http://www.lisapace.com/

But what made me laugh was her post dated March 12.  She talks about having all this space to work in and ending up working in a space that is 10"x6".  Don't we all do that?!  I remember Tim talking about this in one of his classes as well.  Our papers and embellishments envelope around what was once cleared space.

Since I just completed my Beau book, I took some photos and measurements of my work space.

This is the funny part:  My work island measures 6 1/2' x 2 1/2'.  My work space on that island is 11" x 7".  Ha!

 

My counter against the wall is 11' long.  My stamping space (on that same counter) is 7"x7":

and the cutting space is just as pathetic:

  But we get it done don't we?  So now that I posted my mess, it's clean-up time!

Working on a book . . .

For your convenience, I've created the above spread sheet so you may take inventory of your supplies.  As usual, you know I'll have all supplies that you may borrow to use in class.  But I know how you girls are . . . you want your own!

If you want to pre-order supplies, copy the above list, make sure your name is on it and turn it in to For Keeps Sake.  They'll make sure you get the supplies day of class.  Pre-payment will probably be required, but you can check with Aleeta, Nancy N or Timi to be sure.  Turn in all orders no later than April 30 please.

12 Days of Christmas Tag Class this Saturday

Our 3rd tag class is this Saturday.  If you signed up for the class, you have the list of supplies we will be using.  Please remember that the list of supplies is only if you want your own and don't want to share.  Otherwise, I'll have supplies for you to use.

In addition to your regular basics you will need to BYO:

• heat gun (if you don't mind - it will be helpful and make the embossing run a little smoother)

• 2 mini-misters (or you may use mine)

• a popsicle stick (I'll have some for you to use)

• edge distresser (again, if you have one)

• paper piercer

• scratch tool (if you have one)

• an old rag or paper towels

• craft tweezers (such as the TweezerBees)

And remember, it doesn't pay to have your nails done before this class!

I'm excited as you'll be learning some of my favorite techniques.

Note: The Tim Holtz Idea-ology keys for this tag are on back order.
