Yesterday, Nancy, Timi and I decided to take a road trip to St. Genevieve. We love Stella and Me, Ivy and Twigs, Inkleined to Stamp, Oberle Meat Market & O'Dear What A Memory - must stops if visiting the area. And what's not to like about this year's gorgeous Fall colors. My favorite season!
Here's some photos from our day trip.
HAD to stop at this Norman Bates-like house. Could it be haunted? Isn't it a great Halloween house?
On the way home, I set the Canon on that little running-man icon (I admit to being technologically challenged) and handed Timi my camera. She rolled down the window and started snapping. Here's a few of the photos we ended up with. Mind you, these were taken while we were going 65 miles an hour on the highway. Love my Canon (and the little Rosti-man icon)!
(I'm not sayin' these belong in any magainzes, but I don't think we did too bad for 3 people who know nothing except point and shoot.)
and home again, home again jiggity jig:
So while shopping in St. Genevieve,
we picked up a little flyer that had the 3/50 logo on it.
The 3/50 logo means
if
once each month you
shop 3 independently owned stores
spend $50 at each store
you will keep independently owned stores in business.
Love that! And I did my best.
