This week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge blog is to create something in the style of Wendy Vecchi.
For quite a while I have had 2 large acrylic covers from Wendy's Studio 490 collection. One I decorated a while back. The other, sad to say, has been blank until today.
I was very happy to accomplish something that's been on my to-do list - decorate the 2nd set of acrylic covers. I added Studio 490 Art Parts to create a shelf upon which I perched a Wendy-inspired bottle to represent the zero in the 490. A Maya Road sign hangs from Art Parts with Idea-ology swivel clasps and Maya Road letters.
I used Maya Road flowers for the Studio sign because when I first met Wendy, she did not yet have her own line of products. She was designing for Maya Road. You could recognize her style a mile away . . . distinctively detailed and beautifully done. Still today, I can't look at Maya Road without thinking of Wendy.
Used lots of Wendy stamps for backgrounds.
My Team Mates at Simon Says Stamp & Show
