is this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show.
Couldn't decide what type of embossing to use - heat or dry - so opted for both.
First, using a Big Shot I dry embossed a Tim Holtz Glassine Pocket Envelope with a Texture Fades Embossing Folder. I cut off the top of the envelope to create a vertical pocket.
A tag was stamped and heat embossed (Distress Embossing Ink + embossing powder) using Tim Holtz Papillon stamps.
Ribbon and more ink finished off the tag.
Check out what the rest of the Design Team came up with for this week's challenge. Some amazing creations await your perusal!
Speaking of the Design Team, unfortunately, Nancy C., Lori and Kim will be leaving the Simon Says Stamp & Show Design Team at the end of this month. We're going to miss them and their wonderful artistry.
That means, though, that Simon Says Stamp & Show is having a Design Team call. Do you want to be part of this great Challenge Blog? If you love
- the vintage look
- to rubber stamp
- getting inky with it
- to create something wonderfully challenging each week
then this may be the Design Team you've been looking to join!

What a lovely gift this would make...birthday card/tag, envelope...an all-in-one! Okay, maybe a gift card for the lucky recipient!

This is beautiful Nancy, I love the effect of the texture fade on the glassine envelope. x

Very lovely. I love how you designed the butterfly and wing together. It's very elegant and beautiful.
