Our December meet-up usually means an annual Christmas party and last night was no different. We brought hors d'oeuvres and other goodies and some of us traded recipe cards. Loved seeing everyone and yes, we did miss some of our regulars last night. Bonnie, Mary June, Karen . . . everyone asked about you.
January means we have something a bit different planned. Our meet-up this month is a charitable event in which we will be making cards for cancer patients. Details will follow. Stay tuned.
Remember, you can always join us even though you don't want to trade. We'd love to see you!

Unfortunately the dock stike on the West coast has hit my Saturday Graphic 45 workshop. Although supplies for this class were ordered weeks ago, the supplies are still sitting in one of the warehouses on the docks. According to our suppliers and the news reports, it may be weeks before we get our next Graphic 45 shipment. UGH!
So, Saturday's workshop is postponed. As soon as we get the shipment in, we'll call everyone on the list and can host the workshop again.
Thank you for your understanding.
UPDATE: Our supplier is confident we should have the Graphic 45 supplies in house within a week (or so) therefore . . . NEW WORKSHOP DATE is December 29.

Haven't played along with Stamping Ground's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday for quite a while. I've been busy Christmas shopping, purchasing a new washer (ugh!) and getting ready for January classes @ For Keeps Sake. We're going to shake things up @ For Keeps Sake beginning in January. Watch the blog or facebook page later in the month for awesome announcements.
In the meantime, I've been working on my bookbinding class for January. It's not ready yet, but here's a photo of what's been done so far:

Timi, Judy and I traveled to Weston MO this weekend for a candlelight Christmas home tour. It was wonderful and really got us in the holiday spirit.
We met the real Fr. Christmas:
The evening started with dinner here:
and by nightfall we were following the candles from home to home, oohing and ahhing along the way.
The next day, we shopped Main Street, enjoying the architecture and the ambiance.
