Admit One . . .

Sunday, February 24: 12:30 pm: Admit One Mini Book

The base is a Farmhouse mini loaded with adorably printed Bazzill papers, 7 Gypsies ephemera and ribbons. Throw in a few vintage pieces and you've created *Admit One*, a mini that could be used to remember a party, dinner with friends or a family get together.

Basic supplies is all that's needed to complete this mini.  Everything else will be provided for you in this workshop. 

PS: There is one page where you may need a score board (the mini size will do), but not necessary if you don't have one.

                  Kits are being put together today as I'm getting ready for some fun tomorrow!

Playing with Stencil Girl stencils & Wood Icing . . .

last night at CYI. It was fun to experiment with Wood Icing, checking out the difference between Gesso and Wood Icing and seeing how you can build up images with Wood Icing.

We colored, stenciled and generally played . . .

and planned for next month's CYI.

For those of you who asked last night, we did receive one shipment (our original order) from Creative Imaginations which included a few of the products Cheryl Mezzetti will be using in her classes on March 6 & 7.

We are expecting a HUGE second order before Cheryl's class. These workshops are going to be amazing!

Onto more news about next month's CYI: We'll be working with twinchies and creating something wonderful! Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, think about what color scheme you'd like to work with and start collecting papers, stamps, inks etc in your chosen color group.

What are twinchies? A tiny square that's 1.5" x 1.5". And we'll be creating lots of them to incorporate onto a canvas (or whatever you choose to showcase yours). Maybe a book cover instead of a canvas?

Play time . . .

Tuesday, February 12:  6 pm: CYI

This is a free meet-up where we share ideas, trades and generally a good time.  Jump in any time. This month: Let's play with stencils, paint, ink, Gesso and Wood Icing.

BYO:

• inks and acrylic paints in your favorite colors
• Craft Mat
• baby wipes
• something to put water in (to clean small stencils)

Also, please be ready to share ideas on what you'd like to do the next few months.
