Birthday Wishes . . .

and so much fun to do with some old

K&Co papers designed by Kim Hodges.

I've had this 8.5 x 8.5 pad of paper for ages

and felt the need to use these after all our near zero or sub-zero weather.

The colors and patterns are so bright & cheerful.

I can't remember where the chipboard book came from

but it is 7" x 7" and very sturdy.

Lots of pockets

(Queen Anne's Lace chipboard from Gina's Designs)

and pages to open

or untie

Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

I may end up selling it.

Playing along with Stamping Grounds What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW). Working on something bright and cheerful. Must be a craving for Spring!

Lots more pages to finish.

A few book kits left . . .

Documented Travel 2

There are a few mini-book kits left from my workshops this weekend.

The ring bound mini-book measures 6" x 8". You build the dimensional hard chipboard cover and inside 13 inter-active pages with beautiful Marion Smith papers. The kit includes everything needed to complete the mini. The cost is $35 and includes PDF written instructions with step-by-step colored photos.

If interested e-mail me please. Can be shipped within the U.S.

Friends, food and fun . . .

What an amazing weekend. Spending time with old and new friends, sharing laughs, crafts and food is the best way to wile away the hours.

The Travel Trunks are complete and on their way home with a wonderful group of talented women.

Thank you for a fabulous weekend!

CYI . . .

Great fun last night at CYI. *The girls* brought their beautiful art journals for us to ooh and ahhh over and Sherry brought her past CYI trades. WOW, we've done a lot of trades over the years!

Karen brought a really adorable Valentine pop-up box card for us to do. She found it on Split Coast Stampers. Here's the tutorial:

Pop-Up Box Card

Really easy to do and we all jumped on the Authentique Valentine paper line to decorate the pop-up boxes. (Thanks Kathy H for directing us there!)

I did a demo on a masking tape technique found on The Crafter's Workshop site. Super easy!

Next month: a sketch challenge (e-mail me if you need the sketch) to work up as a card, layout, art journal page or tag. Plus we should be back on track with the tags.

See you next month at

Hope you can still join us for sharing ideas and projects. I hear some of you have been busy with art journals!
