Working on another one . . .

just like the other one. After working on my first A Book of Memories designed by Laura Denison, I decided to change it up a bit and do one that was 1/2 the width. I also changed up the binding a little and I think it was easier for me rather than working the edging. (sorry, probably TMI.)

Here's what I've got so far. Still lots to do . . .

Mini Book of the week . . .

Finally got around to trying this pattern from Laura Denison designs. It's a book of memories. I loved, loved, loved putting this together. The binding, the ideas for pages, the pockets - well, everything was divine!

I put my own spin on the cover etc

and used some antique-look papers.

Here's a close-up of that torn spot.

Learned this from the famous LD!

I am working on another fold-out format like this

with a book that's a bit smaller.

Once For Keeps Sake opened it's doors for it's closing sale, friends popped in and began a shopping frenzy. Just so you know . . . 

• until all is sold, the doors will remain open for your shopping pleasure
• there is still new product expected to be shipped to For Keeps Sake so you get the latest and greatest scrapbook supplies out there
• classes will still take place until the doors close for good

Timi and I are planning many more meet-ups, crops etc than what was posted on the preliminary list. We also heard your cries to continue classes with some of your favorite instructors.

Just so you know . . . we're working on it!

We're very excited about the upcoming events and have many of them confirmed with details to follow. You'll be able to sign up just as soon as we have all our ducks in a row. And, as usual, our first sign-up will be at the FKS Girlfriends Getaway in September. Yes, the attendees there will get first choice in signing up for the January weekend! And you never know . . . some of your favorite instructors may show up ; )

Still on a mini-book a week plan . . .

It's been 3 weeks since I last posted so there's 3 new mini's:

 

A garden book

Pre-made flowers are easy to *bling up* for the cover.

Spread some clear drying glue on the petals

and

dip into a jar of bling.

Set aside and let dry.

 

A camping/fishing mini:

 

 

and of course, Halloween:

All the books I create have interactive pages

but this one is ridiculous!
