This month at Ken Oliver Crafts, we are focusing on page layouts.
Ken's products are so versatile.
The Style Contributors have been lucky to work with
Hometown, Studio & Watercolor
mixed with
Ken's stamps, Color Burst & Click-It Inks.
This time, I'm working with
Ken's Studio Line, stamps, ephemera & Click-It Inks
to create a dimensional layout.
I used white gesso around each photo, dabbing just at the edges.
Then mounted each photo on cardstock.
After inking the edges with
Ken Oliver Crafts Click-It Ink in Walnut
I used Tonic's edge distresser around the edges of the cardstock.
Those were mounted on heavy chipboard.
I had a bunch of chipboard and metal gears in my stash.
The chipboard gears were painted then distressed with
Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powders (mixed up some colors).
Added some keys from my stash hanging from a hitch fastener.
I love this Penny Farthing bike.
It's from DeeDee Catron's UmWow Studio.
You can find all kinds of goodies right here:
UmWow Studio
I distressed it with embossing powder then raised it up with pop-ups.
Now I'm thinking it needs brads in those wheels. (hmmmmm)
Last is the title.
I used Ken Oliver's stamps on cardstock and hooked it up to the
butterfly from Ken's Ephemera sheet.
The center of the butterfly is glued down while the wings are left up
with the help of pop-ups.
Thanks for stopping by.
