Layer, layer and then layer some more . . .

As promised, here's more from Frank Garcia's Sweet Peppermint Prima Marketing workshops. We took his tag class and wow was it fabulous. Here's what we made:

Look at all those luscious layers.

I added silver eyelets to each tag, whitewashed the edges and finished off the backs.

If you ever have an opportunity to take Frank's classes, don't hesitate. He's a fabulous teacher with beautiful projects! And he has lots of complimentary workshops on his blog. You can find them here: Free Project Sheets.

Happy day after turkey day . . .

FG Book 1

A couple of weeks ago, the girls and I took a trip to Ankeny IA and visited Memory Bound where we took classes from the talented Frank Garcia. Frank designs for Prima Marketing and has several gorgeous lines with them including Memory Hardware. I love his style!

We took several classes from Frank over the weekend including this beautiful book you see above. It's using one of Frank's Memory Hardware albums along with many other Frank designed products. The paper and embellishments are from Frank's Sweet Peppermint line.

FG Book 2

I love all the layers and detail he puts into every project. And did I tell you what a good teacher he is? He definitely *knows his stuff* and has patience like no other.

FG Book 3

Loved every minute of the weekend creating beautiful projects. In the next few days, I'll share more of what we made with the talented Frank Garcia. Details to be shared soon!

A bit of this and a little of that . . .

Timi & I run For Keeps Sake Events.

We just finished hosting a weekend

Girlfriends Getaway.

Thought I'd show you what I worked on while at the Getaway.

Had so much fun creating this mini-book

lots of

Graphic 45

using a little

Melissa Frances

a bit of

Prima Marketing

and some papers from an old

K&Company collection.

Throw in a little bling and a combination of 3 types of bookbinding

and my book is finished.

Above is the inside cover.

You may have noticed the glass-like knob on the cover.

That's a new Prima Marketing design from Frank Garcia.

They're called

Memory Hardware Orleans Antique Knobs

You get 8 pieces and the suggested retail price is only $7!

The page above closes with a magnet and the metal butterfly.

It opens to reveal 3 pages suitable for photos.

These beautifully cut leaves are by

Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.

Below is a pocket flap

that opens to reveal more territory and a belly band.

Another fold out closed with a ribbon

and lots of real estate inside.

I am in love with these adhesive rub-ons from

Prima Marketing.

This is the one I used

along with

Rub-On Foil Sheets.

There's lots more to choose from!

Above is a top flip

with pockets on the inside:

and ending the book with another

Prima Marketing

adhesive rub-on with foil:
