I've been a follower of Tammy Tutterow's work for years. Her style is decidedly her own and it is always beautiful. When I first discovered her work at a CHA years ago, I was thrilled to learn she was just across the river. Tammy designs her own display at CHA and it shows: a mix of new designs with a bit of an antique look.
These decorated spools were dispersed throughout her display. What a darling idea! And if you're a Tammy follower, you'll recognize the felt flowers. Love the centers of those!
I would love to put this happy banner with the decorated spools on top of a birthday cake!
This was my favorite. If you follow various blogs, you know that some of the gals choose a word of the year . . . an inspiration word. Well, Tammy used a large spool and fabric and added several of the her words from over the years. She used her Spellbinders dies and an antique baby quilt and strung the words together to create this rolled keepsake.
Wish I had a photo of her mini-books with antique-look fabric covers. They are beautiful. Maybe she'll show them on her blog!
Here's another design from Spellbinders that I thought was really cute (not a Tammy design):
More from CHA tomorrow!
