I've got another quick project for you 

using leftovers from your

Graphic 45 Card Kit - Vol 12 - 2021

Create a pouch to hold

candy for a Christmas stocking, 

a gift certificate,

or a small gift when meeting friends for lunch.

Here's what I used:

Leftovers from the Graphic 45 Card Kit Vol 12 - 2021

Nutcracker Sweet 8x8 paper pad leftovers

Pouch Template from the inside cover of the paper pad

Leftover tag

Ribbon from my stash

(sorry, candy not included)

Mouse pad or similar

bone folder

small saucer

scoreboard

Cut out the pouch template and then trace around the template

on a piece of leftover Nutcracker Sweet paper.

Using your score board,

score the straight lines as indicated on the template.

For the rounded lines shown on the template,

line up a small saucer on top of a mouse pad

& score around the saucer.

Carefully fold on the rounded scored lines,

adhere the bottom and side together with glue or tape.

Fill with candy.

You may choose to leave the top open,

spilling the candy out onto each place setting

on your holiday table.

Or close up the pouch and tuck into

a Christmas stocking.

Works for dog treats as well.

Here's a super quick idea 

you might be able to use with your

Graphic 45 Alice's Tea Party

card kit club leftovers.

Book Marks!

They're flat on purpose so as not to distort your current read.

Add a photo of your child, grandchild, pup or kitten

and pop it into your book.

For this one, I used a kraft knife to cut out the center of the frame

and replace it with my Lacey dog.

Add bows to stick out of the top of the book.

Can you imagine how delightful it would be

for a Grandma to receive one of these with her 

Grandchild's photo!

A precious addition to your greeting cards.

This post features ideas using

leftover bits and pieces from your

Graphic 45 Card Kit

1.  Begin with a piece of cardstock cut 5" W x 8-1/4" T. Trim the two top corners to resemble a tag.
2. Fold up the bottom of the tag about 3" to create a pocket. 
3. Locate two pieces of leftover Time To Flourish from your kit. They should be about 3" T x 8" W. I used the two shown in the photo below and cut to 3" T x 5" W. Cover the bottom pocket with one piece and the top of the tag with another piece. 
4. Keeping the pocket folded up, staple the pocket closed at the top right and left corner of the pocket. 

 

        5.  Next go through your leftovers and find any cut-aparts that have months and notation lines. I used these:

        6.  Go through the Time To Flourish scraps again and choose some of your favorite images.

        7.  Using contrasting leftovers and your favorite border punch, add a border  at the top of the pocket and at the top of the  tag.  Use a piece of ribbon from the kit to adhere to the pocket border. Add two images to the lower right pocket and a flower from your own stash and the pocket is complete!

        8.  Add the cut apart tags back into the pocket and your "stuffed pocket" is complete.

Use it to send to someone special,

as a page in your art book or junk journal,

or in your planner.

I'm adding a feature to my blog using leftovers from the G45 Card Kit called

"Do you have a minute".

It features super quick projects/ideas you can create with leftovers from 

The Graphic 45 Card Club Kits.

Since February is just around the corner,

I'm using leftovers from the February page of

Time To Flourish.

The basic leftovers are shown above.

Dig around in those leftover cardstock papers

and locate a piece of cardstock in ivory.

Cut to 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".

Score on the 8.5" side at 4.25" and fold on the score line.

Match a piece of pink cardstock close to the February Time To Flourish pink colors.

Cut a piece of light pink cardstock

4-1/8" x 5-3/8".

Adhere the pink cardstock piece to the center front

of the ivory card.

Then add to the front, a strip of words at the bottom of the card

and

a strip of stamps at the top.

Using the February calendar piece, tie a ribbon around the calendar

and add a small flower to the center.

Pop-up the February calendar

and place it on the front of the card.

For the inside, we'll create a pocket that will hold a gift card.

In my leftovers I found a piece of Time To Flourish February

that was tall and narrow. Cut a strip

 5-1/2" T x (about) 2" W

Holding this piece 5-1/2" T, cut from the upper left corner

to the lower right corner, creating a sort of triangle.

Add this to the inside of the card gluing on the left and bottom only.

Then locate the "How Do I Love Thee" angel image

and add this to the bottom inside of the card,

gluing on two sides only.

Add a gift certificate to this pocket.

Ready to send to your kids or grandchildren

or tuck a note inside the pocket for a special relative.

Nothing fancy here, these tags will take just a few minutes to create

and look adorable on your packages.

Adding a bit of glitz goes a long way.

Here's what I used:

Staples – Artist Trading Tags, Kraft: 4500847

Staples – Artist Trading Tags, Ivory: 4500846

Large tag, ATC tag and Flowers Dies – SKU: 4501687

Did you know these Graphic 45 tag dies

are just a tad bit smaller than the actual tags,

allowing for a border all around the tag including the grommet hole.

Genius! And a must have for crafters.
