Nothing fancy here, these tags will take just a few minutes to create

and look adorable on your packages.

Adding a bit of glitz goes a long way.

Here's what I used:

Staples – Artist Trading Tags, Kraft: 4500847

Large tag, ATC tag and Flowers Dies – SKU: 4501687

Did you know these Graphic 45 tag dies

are just a tad bit smaller than the actual tags,

allowing for a border all around the tag including the grommet hole.

Genius! And a must have for crafters.

As promised, here's more from Frank Garcia's Sweet Peppermint Prima Marketing workshops. We took his tag class and wow was it fabulous. Here's what we made:

Look at all those luscious layers. 

I added silver eyelets to each tag, whitewashed the edges and finished off the backs.

 

If you ever have an opportunity to take Frank's classes, don't hesitate. He's a fabulous teacher with beautiful projects! And he has lots of complimentary workshops on his blog. You can find them here: Free Project Sheets.

 

Happy day after turkey day . . .

A couple of weeks ago, the girls and I took a trip to Ankeny IA and visited Memory Bound where we took classes from the talented Frank Garcia. Frank designs for Prima Marketing and has several gorgeous lines with them including Memory Hardware. I love his style!

We took several classes from Frank over the weekend including this beautiful book you see above. It's using one of Frank's Memory Hardware albums along with many other Frank designed products. The paper and embellishments are from Frank's Sweet Peppermint line.

I love all the layers and detail he puts into every project. And did I tell you what a good teacher he is? He definitely *knows his stuff* and has patience like no other. 

Loved every minute of the weekend creating beautiful projects. In the next few days, I'll share more of what we made with the talented Frank Garcia. Details to be shared soon!

Graphic 45 Mini Safari Adventure Zoo Book . . .

Thought I'd give you a look at the cover.

It's an 8.25x8.25 mini-book that will hold tons of photos.

We'll be using

Graphic 45's Safari Adventure papers and embellishments

as well as

chipboard designed by

Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts

and

Prima Marketing Paints.

We'll create this mini from scratch using

chipboard, Graphic 45 fabric and a Hidden Hinge binding system created by Kathy Orta King.

I will be teaching this at

Checkered Cottage - Kirkwood MO

We'll start class on Friday evening August 12

then continue the class

Saturday, August 13.

We will create a book from scratch

working with chipboard, special tapes and such

and binding with Graphic 45 fabric and papers.

Then on Saturday, we'll build the inside pages

with pockets, flips and many places for photos.

Our St. Louis Zoo was just named

the 3rd best zoo in the U.S. and the 4th best in the world!

So let's celebrate with this mini-book.

Here mini, mini . . .

Lately I've found a few extra days to work on some mini-albums.

Having collected many patterns for mini's

I chose to use

Laura Denison's Simple Favorites: 3 Pocket Album.

I found this album to be so intriguing with its many pockets

going every which way

and plenty of room for tags and photo mats.

I chose both Graphic 45 and K&Co papers for my book

with some Bo Bunny thrown in for good measure.

Look at all that real estate!

Love the blues and browns with some pink thrown in.

It's vintage and bright.

Pockets, pockets everywhere!

And for the cover, I used Laura's idea of fabric on the spine.

Worked like a charm,

especially with Frank Garcia's Artisan Tape by Prima Marketing.

(Love that stuff)
