Do you have a minute . . .

If you do, you can make a few Christmas gift tags using leftovers from your

Graphic 45 Card Club Kit - Nutcracker Sweet Collection

Vol 12 - 2021

Nothing fancy here, these tags will take just a few minutes to create

and look adorable on your packages.

Adding a bit of glitz goes a long way.

Here's what I used:

Staples – Artist Trading Tags, Kraft: 4500847

Staples – Artist Trading Tags, Ivory: 4500846

Large tag, ATC tag and Flowers Dies – SKU: 4501687

Did you know these Graphic 45 tag dies

are just a tad bit smaller than the actual tags,

allowing for a border all around the tag including the grommet hole.

Genius! And a must have for crafters.

Nutcracker Sweet Collection 8x8 paper pad

Stay tuned for more ideas with the leftovers from your

Graphic 45 Card Club Kit.

7 Gypsies Travel Mini-Book . . .

I used to fancy myself a bit of a gypsy.

With over 30 years experience in the travel industry

I can't get enough of travel mini-books.

Here I used 7 Gypsies: Gypsy Moments and Wanderlust 8x8 paper pads

There are things to do with paper that are a  must for me:

{1}  Ink all raw edges

{2} Add pockets whenever possible

{3} Layer with chipboard and Crafty Foam Tape - even stickers!

{4} Use black Crafty Foam Tape or black chipboard or ink the edges of the chipboard with black.

Why? It creates less of a glaring lift than white would create.

{5} Fussy cut where you can to create layers and tags

{6} Odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye than even numbers

{7} Use magnets to create flip pages

{8} Create interest with double pockets

{9} If the packaging is pretty, save it and use it for backgrounds.

{10} Drag colors from one side of the page to another.

The right side paper already had a blue toned design

so I added a blue toned tag to the pocket on the left page.

It helps to draw the eye from one page to another.

Thanks for browsing my travel book.

Laura Denison's Twisted Pockets . . .

This may be one of my favorite patterns yet.

Laura Denison's Twisted Pockets

Book 1

Laura shared this pattern on one of her

What's Up Wednesday Video Tutorials

Book 2

As you can see, I turned mine into a mini-book

with accordion fold pockets

to hold the Twisted Pockets of Laura's designs.

Book 3

Each page has some type of tag(s), flip or fold out

in addition to the pockets that hold the

Twisted Pockets.

How genius are these twisted pockets?!

Book 4

Each one folds inside the other and fits snugly into the largest pocket.

Book 5

More inter-active pocket activity:

Book 6

Each page of the book holds a Twisted Pocket:
